Meet Kate (She/Her)

I know what you’re thinking. It’s pronounced Litch-AR-Dello.

Experience: I have five years of full-time experience as a therapist, working with both individuals and groups. I’ve facilitated group therapy, workshops, and meditation classes. In my 1:1 work, I would describe my ideal clients as folks who have fallen into patterns of people pleasing, perfectionism and over functioning.

Therapy Style: My style is warm, collaborative, reflective and attuned. I primarily work through the lens of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (mindfulness tools, self-compassion skills, values clarification and alignment) and Polyvagal Theory (nervous system education and healing). I am dedicated to an anti-oppressive, antiracist, trauma-informed approach.

Personal: I am a queer, white, cisgender woman. I have been a student of mindfulness and meditation for twelve years, born out of the desire to navigate my own anxious tendencies. I’ve learned to show up as a true friend to myself, holding myself with both patience and honest accountability, rather than attempting to bulldoze my way into self-improvement. Trust—I am practicing what I preach!

Outside of work, I enjoy dance and meditation classes, walking by the ocean, reading library books, drinking iced coffee(s), giggling with friends and being the first to leave their parties.
